Brockley Nature Reserve should be open to the public on Sunday 5 August 2007, 2-5pm, weather permitting.
It is a tranquil place to hang out, even though it is right by the railway line and the sounds of the city are never far away.
From Brockley station, go over the footbridge, turn right and walk straight up the road (Mantle Road). After a bit of flat, it is a short steep up hill bit to a junction. Continue straight on. This main road shortly bends round to the left, but you continue straight on. You are on Endwell Road. Keep going up this road and at the next T-junction cross over the road (Vesta Road) and the entrance should be right in front of you.
It is about 5-7 minutes walk from the station. If you prefer to search on a map by postcode, there is a doctors surgery in the same road, at SE4 2NH, which is very close by.
This post has been edited since linked from Brockley Central. It might make less sense than before, or more. Previously I suggested:
From Brockley station, go over the footbridge, turn right and walk straight up the road, until you can walk straight on no more (about 5-7 minutes walk and a couple of changes of road name). When you can walk no more you should be at the entrance. Hope this makes sense..
A video from the reserve is here.

Hi Jez
Thanks for letting people know about this. I've linked to it from Brockley Central.
I've also tidied it up a bit - tried to give better directions...
Or, if directions aren't your thing, have a look at this Google Map.
